Access to Non-Public Libraries
Consult the Access Policies for Non-Public Libraries for the entrance and borrowing policies pertaining to the library that you intend to visit. Most state university libraries have an open door policy and will let you borrow items with proper identification. Several private institutions, however, impose a fee or membership restrictions for accessing their collections, except for interlibrary loans.
